Thank you for your question. Yes you can use the RS170 with an iPad. The RS170 comes with both 1/8 inch female to RCA male audio adapter and 1/8 inch female to 1/4 (headphone) inch male audio adapter. Here is some additional set up information on the RS170 that may help you as well.

Do I need an adapter to use the digital sound RCA Plug TV output
My HDTV does not have a headphone output. Only an RCA Plug digital output on the rear. Do I need an adapter?
Thank you for your question. Yes you would need an adapter for your HDTV (without headphone output). Our current wireless headphone products have analog connections. You would require a digital to analog audio converter (typically $40-$50). Sennheiser does offer this product the part number is USGEFENDAC.

Will these work with XBox?
Thank you for your questions. The RS160 will not plug directly into an Xbox. However, it will work if the XBOX is plugged into a source that has an audio output (a TV, for example). Please review the product video on the RS160 to help you with your setup.
