I've always purchased the most basic HP printers and they've always worked fairly well except for the paper feed, but on the Envy 4500 HP has finally fixed that issue! For the money this is a great value as it is usually on sale for around $60.
I would recommend this to a friend!

i cannot connect to my printer or scan and when i tried install the driver it says that not compatible with windows 8.1

Go to the HP site and load the appropriate drivers.
