Each of the two conductors in Polarized Power Cord employs multiple strands of cylindrical copper, subtly twisted together to apply a small torque to passing electrons. A PVC coating is applied to each conductor, to prevent any electrons from falling out. The connectors at each end are polarized so electrons will be able to tell whether they are coming or going. The stated 6 foot length does not include the length of the connectors at each end, so it is like getting 2 inches free.
My DVD player gives a superior signal since I got the Polarized Power Cord . In fact, prior to connecting the Polarized Power Cord, the DVD player provided no signal at all. The improvement was that dramatic.

I have used a LensPen cleaner on eyeglass lenses, the glass of a flatbed scanner, and on a camera lens. It does indeed remove fingerprints. It is more effective than lens tissue alone, and faster and more convenient than lens tissue and lens cleaning fluid, from my experience. I wish the tip were replaceable — I don't want to risk contaminating my camera lens from a used-up LensPen, but I hate throwing out the whole thing and paying for another.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The music collection filled up the vacation-home computer's drive, and I needed to add storage without wasting vacation time. I've been satisfied with the performance, reliability, and lifetime of Seagate Barracuda family fixed head disc drives for many years, and I was pleased to find this unit available in the near by Best Buy store. It's also great that the cost for large amounts of commodity storage is absurdly low.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is this compatible with Windows 8?

I'm thinking of adding another HD to my PC, but i wanna know if this will work on Windows 8.
I am using the Seagate - Barracuda 3TB Internal Serial ATA Hard Drive for Desktops with Windows-8. There has been absolutely no issue.

Once you've installed the thing, you will have to use the Windows hard-disc manager program to tell the system how you want it use the disc. I don't remember whether Seagate's instructions are particularly clear or not as I didn't need them.

The machine I bought it for is an HP desktop that came with Windows-8, and it came with a similar Seagate Barracuda drive (but only 1 TB) for its system disc, so there is no question that this family of discs is appropriate for Windows-8.

"Desktop"? OK in a external dock, thru USB? Can reformat to format exFAT?

This is a standard "Serial ATA" drive. They classify it as "desktop" drive because it is physically larger than the drives used in laptops and other smaller computers.

It could be used externally, if you provide an enclosure of a suitable size that has two things.
1. electronics to adapt Serial-ATA to USB
2. electronics to provide electric power in the right form (Drives like this consume more power than a USB connection can provide.)

You might be better off to buy an "External" drive. These have a disc drive already packaged in a protective enclosure with other elements required. The Seagate Backup Plus and Expansion drive products on the Best-Buy site are examples.

The drive can be reformatted for exFAT. You may have to install some optional software on your computer to do it. (That requirement applies with this drive or any other.)
