The best thing about this item is that it has four hand sets. Other features are in line with competitive models. Installation was easy. However, the audio quality is less than I expected. Voices sound "tinny." Would not buy this item again.

No, there is no mute button on the speakerphone, only on each handset.

Do the handsets have a 2.5mm headset port on them?

I like to sometimes take my calls off speakerphone and use the headset to make the call more private but still be able to type.
NO, there are no headset ports on any of the handsets.
