Used SanDisk Ultra II for several of my customers and they all are surprised by the speed increase of there computers. It stopped all my customers talking about purchasing new computers. The SanDisk SSD's are an inexpensive way to make a large upgrade to a computer.

I have a SATA I HDD in a Lenovo ThinkPAd T61. Are the SATA II and SATA III connectors the same as the SATA I?

I am looking to replace a HDD in my Lenovo T61. It has a SATA I HDD. Are the connectors on SATA II & III drives the same as SATA I drives? I understand that SATA II & III drives will perform at the SATA I speeds, but I just want to confirm that the connections on SATA I, II & III drives are the same.
The connectors are the same, the difference is in the speed of the bus.

yes it work in your laptop and you will be pleased with the performance increase. Any SSD that is a SATA drive will work in your laptop.
