Very sturdy wall mount for big tv's. Super easy to install. Includes a variety of mounting hardware to match your tv. I recommend to buy if you want a wall mount that can be rotated and seen from different view points

I have aluminum studs in the wall. How do I install a wall no mount w/o wood studs?

I have aluminum wall studs. How do I hang a 40" TV wall mount?

Depending on the size and weight of the tv, you will need to use wall anchors for drywall. I recommend using the ones that handle up to 300lbs of weight. You can find them at gome depot. You have to drill a pretty large hole in the wall to get them in. (About 1 inch) but they hold really well. Try to avoid hitting the metal studs. They will not hold the bracket well.

Compatible with an LG 55LA9650?

Will this mount work with an LG 55LA9650? The VESA pattern is 400 X 400, and it requires four m6 screws according to the manual.

Yes. However if you need different length of m6 screws, they can be purchased at any harware store. M6 are metric screws. They have tighter treads then standard screws.

sideways swivel seems to loosen up to easy...

...I can easily tighten up with allen-wrench, but after just a few times moving arm/swivel, it loosens back up causing unwanted travel/movement

You can apply a little plumbers tape to the screw, or buy loctite for the screw from a hardware store. This should keep it from coming loose.
