Great product. I've had this drive for about 6 months now. Good storage at a reasonable price. Only issue I've found is that it sometimes wakes up my computer from sleep mode every now and again when the drive spins up, but I don't find that a deal breaker in any sense.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Yes, it has a separate power cord and must be plugged into a wall outlet and to the computer via USB.

Will it work with a laptop?...

Does a laptop provide enough power or is it only compatible with a desktop running power from a PSU?...
It has a separate power cord and must be powered separately from the USB.
