What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: You need hdmi plug and USB for it to work best
I like the item. It was easy to use and set up. We've primarily used it to stream netflix from my iPad. It works great for that and I'm amazed at the picture quality. I'm sure there's more that I can do with it than I have at this point.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: Functionality and usability
I have a samsung tv so I was excited to get this adapter. What I soon found was there was very little this adapter could actually do. I should have know when the service associate at the store told me I would be bringing it back. Should have listened. Went with Google Chromecast instead

Compatible with apple airport/AirPort Extreme router signal?
I don't believe so. I was so underwhelmed with the functionality and capability of the adapter and app. My guess would be no.
