It was what I needed. It is also built in a way that makes it hard to short out. The option of using the screws are also a plus. For what you get it's worth it.

Yes and no. Yes you can go from hdmi to a monitor but not all monitor have that digital input. So double check before purchase.

Why is the price for the 6' HDMI cables different two different areas of the site?

One says $10.99 and when I place them in my cart they are $11.99. How much are they really?
I believe once you put it in your cart it will tell you. If it was me I would try the cheaper one first.
