What's great about it: nothing
What's not so great: not needed
Salesman sold us this as an ad on, but when the geek squad installed the unit he showed us the unit had built ins so we didn't need the cord and cable power kit which we returned. Wasted our time to buy it and bring it back. geek squad was honest in saying it wasn't needed and we should return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Average tv nothing special nothing bad. somewhat cumbersome to start, Maybe a function of cable provider, but you have to push two buttons to start, tv and power, and sometimes cable and power. Would prefer just using power to turn it on and off.
This product has... nothing special but it works and no problems sofar
