I am glad I bought this instead of the home kit! Its nice I can take it when I go outside and still have my XM radio

I'm looking to replace my radio in my vehicle with that serious ready radio is this radio appropriate

This radio has a lot more features then their base model. It all depends on what kind of features you are looking for. If you do not care to pause and rewind a song, also if you do not care to have as many presets or to see the album art then you can go with more of a base model. I have this one in my vehicle and I love it. I also got the portable boombox so I can listen while I am outside.

Can the antenna be mounted inside the vehicle

I have mine sitting right up on my dash just under the wiper blades. It works great! The only issue was hiding the mile long wire
