Does everything it should. It's quieter than the predecessor HP 7280. New photo/paper tray design. The ink cartridges are slimmer/smaller so I'm still unsure if they last as long but seem to be lasting as I buy the XL inks. Nicer, bigger display and more intuitive. My only complaint is the wireless is 2.4 Ghz which is standard I guess. I wish they'd make a 5Ghz wireless. I don't understand why no one does. Yes the 5Ghz range is shorter but if it's in a office or nearby room it shouldn't be a problem. I'd like to use the 5Ghz on my router so there's less potential interference from the neighbors routers. The salesperson thought it should be 5Ghz but was unsure, otherwise knowledgeable in helping with a good purchase. ps BestBuy helped us immediately. We were at a competitor Office store right next to BB and waited over 20 minutes, asked twice and still no one came to help our purchase decision. Went to BestBuy and got helped right away.

will this printer work with windows vista? thanks
It should. I don't see why not. We're using Windows 7 and 8. 7 is similar to Vista and XP. The HP website shows drivers for XP, Vista, 7 and 8.
