I can't believe how quiet this machine is. We have second floor laundry next to our bedroom and can't even hear it one room away. Also, the capacity is well worth the extra $50 we paid for 5.0 vs. 4.5. What used to take two loads on our 4.0 laundry now doesn't even fill the drum all the way.

I had basic cable (just the local channels) and it was costing me $30 per month. I bought this for $40 and it gets more channels at better quality than cable! Just make sure to keep it close to an exterior window and you are good to go. It is the easiest thing in the world to set up.

This 3 +1 month pops up every once in awhile for Xbox Live. It's the same price as the 3 month but you get a free month. Oddly Best Buy sells them both right next to each other on the shelf so make sure you get the correct one.

What's great about it: The prices with Playstation Plus are amazing

What's not so great: The download speeds (especially for new deals or games) are awful

I had PS3 and 360 last gen and while Xbox had the better service through Xbox Live, PSN was far and away the better service for gaming deals and downloads. They have had "day one digital" for years now (while MS is just catching up) and the free games with PS Plus are awesome. However, the download speeds on PSN are sometimes awful. 18gb file on PSN took my system 3 days to download while it only took my xbox a few hours.

Will it work with Apple TV?

Will it power on the Apple TV and switch the HDMI source to HDMI input # that I choose?

Absolutely. I use mine with Apple TV every day. I actually like the feel of it way more and it's nice to have integrated with my receiver volume so it really is a one remote solution.
