I listen to a lot of audio books, so I wanted plenty of memory. This 128 gig fits my life style nicely. Now I travel with plenty of available books without worrying about downloading over wifi I might not trust.

I'm pretty clumsy and drop things a lot, including my IPod. My previous IPod and its cover wasn't very good protection. Dropped it enough that two corners broke and screed cracked in several places. This cover seems large enough and sturdy enough to avoid that situation.

How does a tablet connect to the internet? Do you need to buy a service ie sprint verizon etc and how much a month is it

Yes, you need wifi internet access in order to download aps, games, music, etc. once downloaded, most games will play without continued access. There are place you can connect to free access such as your public library. The cost of Internet as well as the speed varies by the provider you choose and the wifi router you purchase, both of which you will have to pay for.
