My provider supplied DSL modem died. They wanted $75 for a new one. This was less. I plugged it in, followed the instillation wizard and it connected to the network. Only wrinkle was having to call provider's tech support (and have to elevate past the tier one tech support) tohave them "rebuild" the connection (as the provider's network was being a little wonky . . .provider's issue, not the modem's issue) and get an internet connection.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: works out of the box with no hassels
What's not so great: charger cord is woefully short
If you have the habit like I do of losing or washing Bluetooth headsets, then this puppy is a good pick. It works, sound quality is decent, and battery life is good. Works just fine with a PS3 & comes with a couple different sized rubber ear things for fit. Only gripe I have is the cord that comes with the provided charger is all of a few inches long. Still, it has a micro USB connection can be charged on about anything else so no big deal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Awesome Vacuum!
What's not so great: Wow, pricy. . .
I found this thing sitting in my kitchen one day. My wife has been going on about getting a Dyson since forever. 18 months with no interest and a sale at Best Buy (Honey, I totally saved us money, it was on SALE!) did it and it miracled itself into my house for me to trip over at midnight after coming home from work.
I am a skeptic by nature. I have steadfastly refused to buy into the hype surrounding the brand. Friends have sworn by them. I have to say that our friends did not exaggerate.
This thing is awesome.
Awesome on toast with a side of fries and Awesome Sauce. Carpets look great, and this thing pulled up CANISTERS worth of dirt that the Bissell we had before missed. The hair free tool thing really gets into upholstery. It does a treat for cleaning out your car's floor mats. The suction from the hose will literally suck up a pair of none too tiny earbud headphones I had wondered where they went) without a burp, right into the canister. The last vacuum wanted to choke on little pieces of paper. Dog hair does not stand a chance, and that's coming from someone who owns a 130lb Great Dane.
The design of these things is pretty dang smart and well executed. Very user friendly.
What sucks in a bad way about the DC41? I am not a huge fan of the extension hose/wand thing. It's the one spot of design on it that I am less than thrilled with. I wish it was longer and less self retract-ey. My biggest gripe is it IS expensive. I am a cheapskate by nature. The price tag is nearly my my monthly mortgage payment. That being said, the performance is outstanding, the warranty is dang good, and it's as user friendly as an iPhone is to a tween.
5 out of 5. Shoulda got one years ago.

Do I have to have an active line in my home to use this with a router?

I don't have internet in my home and was wondering could I use this with a router to have access to the internet?

will this work for the xfinity internet service

I don't know if this will work for xfinity internet services, which I have, will it or will it not?
No. xfinity is Comcast. Comcast is cable internet. This is for ADSL which is telephone line based. If the plug in your wall for internet is a telephone jack, it is ADSL. If your internet provider is not a "telephone" company (ATT, Windstream, Verizon) then it is probably not ADSL. Here is a list of approved devices for Comcast.
