What's great about it: Price, Applications, S pen, Quality of Samsung, S Note, Camera, Accessories
What's not so great: Honestly I love the Note 2 and have not found anything I don't like.
When I told the sales associate that I wanted the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 they thought I said the Note 3. But the Note 3 cost over $300! And the Note 2 was Free! And soon Samsung will launch the Note 4. So I decided the Note 2 was the best deal. Even if the Note 2 is not the newest version in the line up it is still a absolutely amazing phone. At first I wasn't sure if I would like such a big phone. But now I love it. I wanted a phone that i could use to organize my thoughts and life. The Note 2 works perfectly for all my organization needs. The S pen stylus is a great feature. I haven't even scratched the surface using all the many features. I am totally pleased with my Note 2 and got a awesome deal at Bestbuy on a Galaxy Gear 2 Neo smartwatch making my Note 2 even better!

What's great about it: Quality Hardware
What's not so great: Confusing OS
I always thought that the iPhone was one of the best phones. But in reality this phone is not so great. I have a iMac and love it but I really don't like the iPhone 5c. My previous phone was a Android phone and as much as I want to love the 5c I just find it so limited and confusing. Unfortunately I'm stuck with this phone for a few years. I wish I had returned it before the return period expired. Think twice before you buy this phone. Hype is just that hype and expensive hype that doesn't even work that we'll is worse!

Verizon chat told me if I buy from Best Buy, that you will add charges to my bill monthly, over what Verizon already does! I just had to check!

Got mine at Bestbuy and I have no extra charges each month from Verizon. The first bill is higher and Verizon charges everyone $35 to activate.

How long will the 149 dollar sale last?

Right now it says that the price for a new contract with this phone is 149 as compared to 199. How long will that last?
Currently Bestbuy has the Note 2 listed for all carriers at $49. But when I went my local store I got my for Free! So just go check them out at the store. And my Note 2 is awesome!

how much does a iphone cost at best buy

Cost me 199.99 for a 32G I purchased for my son. Think the 16G are 99.00. But 16G is not really enough memory to support the system. I don't like the iPhones. You will be stuck with 16G forever but if you get a far better Samsung Galaxy 5 or Note product you can expand the memory and they are so easy to operate.

1st time smart phone user, which phone would you recommend:i phone or the galaxy 5

For a 1st time smart phone user would you recommend the galaxy 5 or the I phone 5?
The Samsung Galaxy 5 is a far better phone then ANY iPhone. I purchased a Samsung Galaxy 5 for my daughter and my wife wanted a iPhone 5c. Now my wife wants a Galaxy 5 and is very dissatisfied with her iPhone. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and it even blows away the iPhone 5c. I am not even impressed with the iPhone 5S. Actually I don't understand all the praise or cult following for the iPhone products. The OS system works great on the iMac but the phones are not the same. The system is a pain and the difficult to use. The screens are small and even though there are many apps the Samsung Android apps are equally and sometimes even more impressive. I love my Samsung I would only replace it with another Samsung product. I have a Galaxy Gear 2 Neo smartwatch and it pairs perfectly with my Note. My wife wanted a smartwatch for her iPhone so we had to buy a Pebble. However the Pebble doesn't even perform well with Apple OS. It always disconnects and has way less features. Go with the Galaxy 5 you will love it! Don't fall for the iPhone hype.
