Pretty decent product for the price. Subwoofer can overpower the surround speakers easily. I suggest if you want to use with computer, or phone, and don't want to plug and unplug cables, buy a 3.5mm splitter with purchase. Using supplied yellow or black jacks, will not provide 5.1 surround. So a splitter is a must.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very easy to setup right out of the box. Setup straight over the network without a need for a disc drive (which most computers are missing now days). Speed was on par with most N routers with very little latency or packet loss.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will these speakers sound good if I use them outside to watch a movie, on a projector, using the aux cable?

Yes they will sound decent. The price also helps. You can also control the surround speakers separately from the subwoofer.

Do the speakers come with a program that have a synthesizer. The system that I have now is rather old but that is a feature that I have always liked. It has many settings. Such as, room, forest, extended stereo, and several others.

Hooked up the system, I can get it to work through the TV just fine, but I am unable to get all the speakers to work through my PC. What might be the problem?

Please use a 3.5mm splitter. The system will not play 5.1 surround unless plugged into the green jack. Yellow and black jacks will only provide 2.1 on each. So plug the splitter into the green jack, then a 3.5mm extension cable into Rach side of the splitter, and then into each device you would like to play.
