Easy to use, nice phone app, & it performs great. My Jawbone Up has worked perfectly for the past three months. I bought this after returning my FitBit. The FitBit changed modes by tapping the device. Anytime I rode my bike the vibrations would make the FitBit change modes. Really like that the Jawbone Up has a dedicated button, which avoids accidental mode changes.
Battery life is long and it recharges fast. This little device is a good motivator and reminder of your goals to become more fit. It has worked for me and could be a help to you too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

can this be use with an ipad?
Yes. It can be used with an iPad since it has an earphone jack, which is how the JawBone Up synchs / connects to the app that will run on the iPad.
