What's not so great: cheaply made
Cheaply made. But gets the job done. Don't expect to use this for more than a splitter.

Are older film SLR lens be interchangable with the DSLR cameras?

Will Canon A1 lens fit Canon T5i?
No. The A1 isn't an EOS and will lose most functionality; mostly auto focus.
