Worked out of the box and satellite service was terminated after installing an attic antenna for locals. Better viewing all around. Warning, do not buy a SanDisc memory chip for this unit - it will not recognize it and cannot format it. Any other brand will do. The memory chip will not store program content and will not speed up the device, so its usefulness is limited. Roku website info is not the best.
I would recommend this to a friend!

do the roku come with all the connecting parts ?

You will need to find or buy an HDMI cable.
