Needed more space for my PS4. Was a little skeptical about using this ..but was convinced from talking to customer service rep at Best Buy. This worked perfectly. We were able to upgrade and get the PS4 to work.

Ok I originally got this tv to go in my daughters/spare bedroom so when she comes home from college or if we have guests they will have a tv in the room. I didn't want a small one and but didn't want to spend a ton of money.. This fit the bill perfectly.. My daughter loved it ... Wanted me to give it to her to take back with Her lol Ummm nope.

We love how easy the setup was for this ... I was a little overwhelmed because I didn't want the sound to be tooooo loud but also wanted to make sure we got a good sound as well. It works well with our vizio 55 inch tv and the sound is like we are in a movie theater. I also love it when I'm listening to the music channels ... Feels like we are at a concert!

do I nedd optical cable to hook a wireless subwoofer and does work on sharp tv

You need an optical cable to connect the sound bar ... The subwoofer will connect wirelessly. Not sure about the sharp tv but it worked well with the Vizio .
