The XL cartridge last a long time and the print is of good quality to use when you print in fast/draft mode for most items printed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is this ink compatable with HP Photosmart C3140?

I am having a hard time finding ink that is compatable with my HP Photosmart C3140. Is this black ink compatable with it?
Just checked the side of the box and the Photosmart C3140 is not in the list; therefore, I would say No.

how much more ink does the XL have vs. the regular black ink cartridge?

I am not sure how much more ink the XL has but it definitely last longer! I usually print most items in fast/draft mode and save on ink that way as well.
