I returned this after having it for a couple weeks at most. The receiver shut off while being used a few times, lacked any sort of useful user interface, made really loud and concerning clicks when turning on and off (I've owned other recievers in the past that have not), as well as looks and feels poorly made.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Maybe not the best if you need multiple port options and don't want to purchase adapters but excellent otherwise. I upgraded from an 11 inch MacBook Air and it's great that this only takes up a slightly larger footprint with a larger display and is much more capable. My wife and I really enjoy the new keyboard, larger trackpad, and Retina display.

Great washer, not amazing

My only holdup so far with this washer is if the load is not even, I'd say at least 95% even, then the cycle stops leaving the clothes drenched and requiring the cycle to start over manually after adjusting the load. Only happened a couple times before we ensure its loaded well now but was frustrating at first. Excellent as far as how well it washes clothes and would definitely recommend.

What's great about it: Small but powerful enough to fill 400 sq ft room
What's not so great: Not as full sounding as other Polk speakers
These speakers are well worth the price and if $100 is all you've got than a good choice. If you have heard other Polk speakers you may be a little disappointed... If I had it to do over again, I probably still would have bought them considering I am on a tight budget. If I had a a bit more money I would go for something in the RTiA series. Decent low end for a bookshelf but leaves something to be desired, mids are a bit tinny, and highs are crisp. Good sound, not great.

What's great about it: easy to use, synchs with phone, helps sets goals and gives encouragment
What's not so great: I had to replace the battery within the first month but thats not the norm with the zip, it usually last 3-4 months
I purchased the zip in March and I am addicted to IT!
It is very easy to use,synchs with any phone and holds me accountable to daily goals. It tracks steps,calories,miles, and "active minutes". The zip in small and easily clips to your pants or bra strap.
I recommend a FITBIT to anyone who loves to move or wants motivation to move more.

What's great about it: Inexpensive
What's not so great: Can't imagine will last long, not built very well
I was trying to decide between the Rancilio Silvia and the Gaggia Classic or Baby Twin, I opted to go with the Gaggia and returned it the very next day.. The steam wand had weak pressure and leaked from both the base and the tip (which I'm sure contributed to the pressure). The Gaggia logo on the face of the device easily moved up and down (small complaint but I thought if they can't securely fasten the logo what else is loose?) The drip tray just felt cheap, I guess mainly in the fact it was so light. I considered keeping it and dealing with the little things but thought for $400+ I wanted it to work without flaws. I'm glad I returned it and went with the Rancilio, more expensive but way worth it. I did a ton of research before purchasing and checked out reviews for at least 5-6 espresso machines, save the headache and if you want a quality machine that will last more than a few years... keep looking. I should add this is the first review I have ever written, that is how passionately I did not like this product.

will these work with polk monitor series 5 (5JR) speakers that seem very heavy, and are 19.5 in tall? don't like or want tall or metal stands! thnx!
I placed Definitive Technology SM 55 Bookshelf Speakers on them and thought they did a great job supporting them. Not sure how they compare spec wise to the Polk speakers (other than what you mentioned) but I wouldn’t go much bigger than the SM55’s. 13” tall, 12” deep, and 15 lbs each. The stands come with little rubber-ish stickers that attach to the top to help keep the speakers from sliding around. I’d say it’s equally likely that the whole thing will tip as the speakers getting knocked off if that helps. They feel very solid once put together and I have no worries of the top or bottom breaking during normal use. I’d buy them again if needed.
