What's great about it: Easy to set up, easy to use, great price
When I first heard of the Chromecast, it sounded like a good way to watch stuff like YouTube on the big screen, and at that price, if I was wrong, it would not be a big expense to find out. So I picked one up.
I've been very pleased with it! It makes it super easy to watch YouTube, Netflix, etc. on the TV. Admittedly, I already had a number of devices that could do either of these, but getting that going is always such a slow and painful process. Opening the YT or NF app on my phone, or going to their site on my laptop, is quick and easy, and then telling it to play on the Chromecast instead is a snap. I've got two Chromecasts now and soon to be three.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can you post and view your twitter feed on the chrome cast?

You can cast the screen of your Android phone, or any tab from the Chrome browser on your laptop. So if your phone/laptop is on the Twitter website, yes. :-) (Caveat...I don't think phone screen mirroring works on iPhone, and the tab casting only works with Chrome, not other browsers.)
