I purchased my mom a Lenovo tablet last year because of its simplicity and intuitive design. So when I needed a new laptop she gave glowing recommendation. Well I'm a techie and was skeptical. The screen clarify is topped notched, no eye strain after hours of use. Its both simple and powerful, easy customization. I will purchase another in the near future as a gift.

How do I get hbo go to display on my screen to select it? Only Netflix shows
You need an active subscription to HBO through their HBO app or with your cable subscription. Then you would log into HBO with your credentials.

The roku doesn't produce a wifi network just joins your existing network.

Do I need a roku console to use a roku stick in the house?
No. The roku stick is all you need to get up and running with a wifi network.
