What's great about it: True plug and play. Idiot proof.
What's not so great: Nothing to add here.
Excellent device. Easy set-up. Great price for a very responsive mouse. Works on virtually any surface. (not on glass)
using one on my windows 8 desktop and my Lenovo laptop.
Great buy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm trying to find a mouse with a range of at least 6 to 10 feet.. Does this mouse have a long range.? It doesn't say..
This mouse will give you good, solid response at 15 feet. I just tested it to that distance.
So this should suit your purposes just fine.

DX-WLM1401-BK Connection?

I am having trouble setting up the connection between the mouse and the receiver. How long do I need to hold down the "Connect" button?
it's normally just a few seconds (2-5). Or if there is an LED, just hold until the LED flashes or blinks. Please make sure your batteries are inserted with the correct polarity.
Also, some USB hubs will inhibit the receiver operation. Plug receiver directly into a computer USB port.
