Perfect for use in home office or other small space. Lightweight, so you can take it with you and not have to worry about delivery. Easy setup. Picture and sound the equal of many more expensive brands.

Who ever woulda thought we'd consider our "old" 42-inch flatscreen "small?" At first, our new Samsung 60-inch set seemed overpoweringly huge. But, now that we've had it for a month, it really is just the right size! Not a smart TV, 'cause we don't use Netflix or stream anything from the computer to TV. And plasma rather than LED, 'cause we saw no need for the extra brightness of LEDs. Frankly, my wife and I consider this an absolutely wonderful TV. P:icture is great! Sound is excellent. Delivery was handled in a totally professional manner. Setup was easy enough even for a luddite like me. A good buy

Can I connect a DVD player to this TV?

I'm confused with the various inputs/outputs liste for Samsung 60in Model: PN60F5300AFXZA - can I connect an 'old school' (10 year old) DVD player to this TV?
We have a newish Blu-Ray player connected via HDMI cable. I think your older DVD player can be easily connected using a component input (it's the one with the three RCA plugs) cable.
