Great for the price and great for smaller 40 inch or less TV's. The only issue I had was that the screws that came with it were not up to the quality I would expect so I went and bought my own for cheap. Other than that it works great for a slide only TV mount.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Enables Multiple WiFi Devices w/o Kicking One Off
What's not so great: N/A
I used to use a single band router until I realized that once you went over 3 WiFi enabled devices, it would start going really slow and kicking something off the internet. Once I got this one, I had no problems. Problem was I wanted to go the cheap route and get a $49.99 router with one band and 300 mbps instead of spending the extra cash to get a dual band 600 mbps router. Like they say, you get what you pay for and I am highly satisfied with this one. Never again will I skimp on something I am going to use everyday. If you don't have the money right away, save up because this router is one of the best I have used. My old one was a Belkin Dual Band N600 and it lasted for 4 years BUT even though it was under warranty, Belkin wanted me to PAY to ship it to THEM so they could send me out the same one with a prorated price! What was the point of a warranty then?! Save yourself the trouble and get this router. I get fast internet speeds even though my general speed from my internet company is slow (~5mbps upload and ~1.5 mbps download). I can get on my wifi from almost 200 feet away even through the massive electrical interference I have in my house from all of my other electrical items. Definitely WORTH IT! I have had NO issues at all with this router and I have had it for a few months. Speed is great, no buffering or connectivity issues. Pure glass service.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wall Mount

Can this work for my Insignia 40" TV?
No. This is meant for a maximum of 39" TV sets. It would either be too small or your TV would be too heavy for this to be secured safely.

Can you mount this on the back of a media cabinet to use with a 37" tv?

No this needs to be mounted in wall studs. It will break your cabinet as it is designed for stud mounting on load bearing walls.

Can this work for my Insignia 39" TV?

More than likely yes. This one is adjustable and can hold up to 50 lbs. As long as you mount it in a stud and your TV weighs less than 50 lbs, it should work.

What kind of modes are there.. if there are any.. and what are they for? (Netgear N600 wireless dual band router) Model: WNDR3400... want long range

trying for long range and best performance. Live in large spacious House. One wired desktop downstairs, Ps3 2 laptops a tablet and 2 smartphones all wireless and upstairs. Anything I can do to increase the output...
If you are having an issue getting signal to those devices, I would suggest a signal Range Extender. Usually about the same price or a little bit more expensive as the routers themselves but they can extend the range of your router tenfold depending on the one you buy. Just make sure you buy one that is compatible and has the same speed as your router (600 mbps router with a 600 mbps Range Extender). If you are still having issues, you may need to go to an even stronger router since you have a lot of devices. This is from a purely networking standpoint as I have many years experience with this. Hope this helps.

want to upgrade

I am currently using a Netgear N300 for my wireless network. It was fine until I decided to start streaming MLBtv (in HD) to my HDTV through my Blu-Ray player. There is a lot of refreshing and stuttering and I am assuming it is because my router is not strong enough. Single level home, office and bedroom right next to each other, HDTV and Blu-Ray in bedroom, computer and router in office. Signal doesn't have far to travel. I am getting the same stuttering on my computer but I am attributing that to an older video card in PC. Can you give any suggestions or recommendations? When I do upgrade will I have to re-register my wireless devices? Thank you for your help!!
Hi, Dawn. Coming from a purely networking point of view (I have years of experience working with electronics and networking), it seems to me that you have a weak router that can't process all of the data. Here's how it works: a router picks up the signal from your internet company, encrypts it, then sends it to your TV, computer, video game console, etc. Now once it gets to your wifi device, that device has to unencrypt it in order for it to be used. This takes time and, in the case of too many signals and not enough bandwidth, causes buffering and stuttering. Let's say you have 2 devices using wifi but one of them is severely hogging the internet (google TV vs wifi cell phone). It is going to take most of that bandwidth and have to unencrypt it before the cell phone will be able to get its info from the wifi but unfortunately, they like to push and shove each other while being in line to get the data so you end up having them fighting over available bandwidth (your mbps) and the data itself so they both are affected and thus go very slowly. If you are using a single band router, it just makes the problem that much worse. You can think of a single band router as a 6 slot extension cord. It has enough room for a couple devices that take a little data and very little room for those devices plus data hogs (computer, google TV, etc). A dual band router gives you more extension slots (ports to connect to) so they aren't fighting over the same data. My recommendation is to upgrade to a dual band router with at least 600 mbps. I currently have a NetGear Dual Band N600 Router and run many wifi enabled devices on it. I had the same problem you are having when I had a single band. Once you get that, it should take care of the problem immediately. I hope this helps.
