What's great about it: looks great when installed
What's not so great: the wire fish is kind of cheap
This looks excellent installed and comes with all of the tools needed including a pole to fish wires through the wall. I broke three poles before i got to use them but i had fortunately just finished wiring my surround sound and had purchased a fish tape reel from the hardware store. I think it would've been easier to use that anyway since its more flexible around the insulation. I had a little trouble pulling the covers off to paint after i had installed this. Overall it did exactly what it was supposed to do, hide all the wires.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: i can rotate my 64" plasma almost a full 90°
What's not so great: a bit pricey
comes with a stud finder. I needed to be able to turn a 64" plasma almost 90° because of an odd shaped room and this product does exactly that. A little more money than i wanted to spend on a tv mount but i am happy with the purchase. I would recommend having at least two people help you when installing. It was very difficult with myself and one other person to attach the tv to the wall mount.
I would recommend this to a friend!

How to hide the TV & cable box wires but I don't have a TV storage unit?

It appears that this would work only if I have a floor storage unit so that the hole can be hidden behind the TV storage unit furniture, however I have a wall-mounted shelf, because we cannot fit a storage unit underneath without it blocking a narrow hallway entrance, do you have any solutions?

You're going to need more than this product to hide all of those wires. You'd need to relocate the coax cable jack on the wall as well a the outlet to right behind three shelf which its going to require some electrical and dry wall experience. i would suggest calling a handy man.
