I don't fault the antenna. I am in a bad location. I will require an external antenna on a tall mast.

Why does audio out on hdmi intermittently cut out?

I have this unit driving speakers throughout the house, but for tv I just want to pass the audio out through hdmi. Hdmi output is set to audio + video. What else needs to be configured? Audio mostly works out hdmi, but keeps cutting out (speakers continue to work when audio drops on hdmi).

Config error or defective unit?
Could be a defective or poor quality HDMI cable
