This has been working really well. Been recording gameplay videos for a couple weeks straight.
I don't like that you have to plug it into something to use your device though. Sometimes I don't have my laptop nearby the xbox. Also, the Elgato software doesn't work that well. Usually use OBS instead. The live capture feature is cool, but doesn't work well, at least when I tried.
Still a very slight delay from your gameplay to the computer. Even with the USB 3.0

I picked this up about a month before this review. The Actual laptop is quite the looker. It is thin and light, but along with those great features this is super powerful laptop. Quick and responsive, plenty of power to run the most demanding programs. Because of the power to weight/thin ratio, the battery life severely suffers, 2.5-4 hours on average. The biggest issue is the on board speakers, for some reason the left speaker is super tinny and sounds blown out. Apparently this may be a software issue, but they still haven't fixed it, if ever. MSI actually told me to return it. Quite annoying. I've noticed forums and youtube videos of owners who have the exact same issue. Plug in headphones and things sound great though. For the price, this is a pretty sweet device, but it has some major setbacks also for the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I want to slowly move towards a smart home, and with an 18 month old at home I thought the Nest Protect was the perfect start. It was easy to install and set up, although setup took a little longer than someone may like, but easy. It's kind of a very long term thing to review, so it would be nice to come back to it in a year or two to see how it is working. But so far it's been great!

This headset was a great purchase for the money. A surround sound headset for this price was what I as looking for. Replacing Astro A40s (with a bad mic). I had to get a splitter to make them work with my mix amp, but after setting the equalizer, they sound pretty good. They are light and plasticy. The lightness is welcome, but they feel like they could be broken quite easily. Been using for a little over a month now and seem to work well.

I'm by no means an expert on audio recording and recorders, but this device is great for portable sound recording. I used it about a week or two after purchase to record interviews using the on board mics and it was great! I set the level based on what background noise I could hear which when going back into my software turned out the audio was a little quiet, but it still worked well. I love that it has inputs so it can be flexible.

what about canon M3?
The canon M series mirrorless camera uses it's own lens attachment size. But there is an adapter that Canon offers for EF and EF-S lenses to easily fit M series cameras.
So, no it won't fit M3 outright, but can with an EF to EF-M lens adapter.

Are these headphones compatible with Xbox One?
Not the way they are packaged currently. They use a split mic/audio cable design. It comes with a USB adapter. But you'll need a mic/audio to 3.5mm trrs adapter.
