Since before they had 4k go pros and such it used to be all about UHS-1 cards and for most of everything that has a SD or MicroSD card slot. For most of the devices including smart phones for most its perfect. For the 4K entrepreneurs this is not going to push it, but as described its perfect.

For every day run of the mill uses this range extender is fantastic, as for modularity it sort of lacks with its simple GUI and required login which is all right but not needed. A few things I found missing since upgrading to the EX:7000 from the AC750 was UPnP and port forwarding options which reluctantly lost a star for its over all usefulness. Great product for home users a bit of a drag for missing UPnP and separate advanced options like in the AC750

Tested this on my laptop and it works beautifully! It doesn't have a GbE port so I had to get an adaptor that rides a USB 3.0 port and the adapter delivers the full GbE speeds. Latency wise it is symmetrical with a standard I/O PCIe card and an integrated GbE input.

Benched it and got the full 6 Gigabits a second which is blazing fast and holds roughly 509GB's formatted from the systems usage. After formatting into a Dynamic disc I was able to use this in my Xbox One seamlessly.

Installed myself and works beautifully with controllable bass outputs and all the cords needed were included. Bluetooth works seamlessly with my Galaxy S5 allowing me to make calls and then switch straight back to music with one touch of a button.

My HP laptop is unable to download at Cox Ultimate Internet speed
I upgraded to Cox Ultimate Internet, with d/l speed capability of 120, but the most my computer will generate, with Ethernet, is 80. Four techs have verified this. What external device can increase my capacity?
External devices? the best way to utilize your full bandwidth is either using top tier routers and adaptors or going hard lined(recommended). Although there are settings in your router that can boggle down your network speeds as well as the cables qualities themselves. There's a setting in your router for WAN leading to the router from the modem called MTU max transfer units which if set to low or to high can change the packet sizes and lower or higher your transmission speeds. Also using an AC router with Gigabit Ethernet ports would help as a Fast Ethernet might cause some bandwidth bottlenecks. As well as cabling rated for Gigabit Ethernet, I.E. Cat. 5E and above.

what is the range to pick up distant wi-fi
Maximum distance is hard to determine without knowing your surroundings as well as other cross interference. If you live inside a concrete/steel reinforced house you might only be able to sneak away with maybe 30-60' which is about the distance to a mailbox. Though you might be lucky and get an insane distance which would be your whole neighborhood. Also some security protocols like AES and TKIP will lower your max range Also it would be best to find a low usage channel most are set to auto which will navigate to a higher or lower channel, some will not. Settings in your router might help you increase gain and distance but at a cost of bandwidth.

I have a wireless router at home...I need something to make my desktop pick up a wireless signal. Will this work?
Yes, compared to most adaptors this one has a USB 3.0 extension as well as a high gain antenna. Making it perfect for getting those hard to reach areas. Along side increased maximum bandwidth to decrease latency. Remember increased bandwidth = less latency. Given there's normal server latency, the faster your network is the better; especially for gamer's! Don't forget to use an AC rated router for peak performance, best of luck,

Dell inspiron
I'm looking to upgrade the hard drive in my dell inspiron n5110, these seem to be about the same size, but I've never switched out the hard drive... will the one work, or should I be looking at the dell store?
Sata hard drives are interchangeable for the most part and yes this SSD will fit in your laptop and can be upgraded by either using cloning software (recommended) or reinstall your OS using the recovery discs obtained from Dell or Windows OEM software. (Risks may apply) all dependant on how much you know about computers. Just don't forget to place the spacer in the hard drive bay after.

Transfer Speed???
For this BF weekend special, I can't pass this price up. However, I'm worried the TS will be slow. Anyone with an definite answer?
The transfer rate is approximately 20 megabytes per second or about a gig every couple to few minutes for big file transfers. Usb 2.0 is rated at 480 megabits per second. One byte can be up to 8 bits or vise versa 8bits =1byte. Try something thats usb 3.0 for a bootable drive. Usb 3.0 is rated around 6 gigabits per second or 130 megabytes per second. Which will move a movie in about a minute or less. Happy hunting!
