I bought this to replace my linksis e4500 that met with a full mug of ale
the smart wifi accesability is nice to be able to monitor your network from anywhere in the world on any type of cell tablet .. anything

Will This Device Work With

I have a FIOS fiber optic service . I currently have a Actiontec router M1424WR. Do I have to configure these devices to that service provider/router in some way? I realize it says it is pretty much plug and play. What can I expect of this particular device before I consider the purchase??? I bought a Linksys router to expand my wifi signal in my two story home and it became too complex for a novice like me to configure following many Utube attempts. I need a simple solution and am hoping this is it???? Thanks..
no, its truely plug and play , i am on comcast and i use this kit to bridge the connection upstairs to another router < linksys WRT 1900AC > where i run my pc , personal cloud and home theater.
it is also an encrypted connection between the base unit and remote unit < where you want internet >

need to buy a device that will connect wifi when we go to grandma's and my granddaughter can play her ipad. no internet at her grandma's. thanks

this is only for ethernet connections. for wifi you may look into range extenders or bridges if there is a wifi router in range or the only other thing i can think of is if you have a smartphone, most have a tethering or mobile " hotspot "option. so you could piggyback off of your phones connection.

Is there a product to convert my non-wireless printer into a wireless printer?

none that i know of. but i would check with your printer manufacterers website or their customer support.

U3 enabled?

It says it's U3 enabled, yet it doesn't come with U3, and when I try to install U3 from sandisk.com it says my flash drive is not supported.
