Works well, a little hard to reconfigure to a new phone (Thankfully my techie husband figured it out) and I can never figure out how to answer a call without having to answer it on my phone. Usually accidentally disconnect it from the phone, and then fumble a bit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Charging Specs

Like most companies, the Warnings in the package state don't dare use any other charging than the 5-pin micro USB AC charger that came with the headset. Does it really matter? Aren't all such USB chargers generic? I'm curious because this was a gift and the USB AC charger cable was wrapped separately. It's probably the one that came with it, but does it matter?
I achieve best results when I charge with their USB cable and an AC power block. However, I usually charge mine on a generic cable from Walgreens or my LG provided cable for my phone, usually in my car on a 12v converter. The biggest difference I've found is that a full charge from dead on a 12v car charge takes between 2 and 3 hours, where with a 120AC at home it takes between 1 and 2 hours.

For a maintenance charge on ANY rechargeable battery, you want to let your battery drain completely and charge on AC generally overnight. This helps maintain the life of your battery and prevent an overvoltage occurrence. (Which can damage your battery and potentially kill your device.) Always remember to turn off any device that houses a rechargeable battery when doing a maintenance charge (Like this handset!)

Why won't the headset hold a charge?

This model is intended to go on standby mode *when not connected to Bluetooth*--you don't necessarily need to turn it off when it's disconnected, but being connected in itself drains battery, whether you're talking on it or not. Attached are two screen shots from the Jabra website of the battery-related FAQ and the Tech Specs on battery as well. It has an 9-day stand-by life from a FULL charge, with NO use, and a 9-hour active battery life. What this translates to is for every one hour of active use (Which can be as simple as connected to your phone and not playing anything through it or being on a call) you will lose one day of standby time. Things that can affect your battery performance are: extreme temperatures--I'm guilty of keeping mine in my car, in Wisconsin, where it gets as high as 90 outside now, but as low as -20 (and colder) in the winter; sound preferences--I've found that my battery drains faster when I have my headset volume turned all the way up (minor work-around: turn your device volume all the way up, but use a lower setting on your headset); and leaving it turned on even when it's not connected. The best way to preserve a charge is to turn your device off when you're not going to be wearing it. When you turn Bluetooth on on your device and turn the headset back on, it will still auto-connect, so there should be no worries there. I hope this helped!

On the bottom-most section of this page: http://www.jabra.com/support/JABRA-CLASSIC_100-92300000-02#downloads there's a Download Area. If you open the "User Manual" PDF, all of the instructions are there. It works on Mobile too (If you have a smart phone, I have to assume that you do).
