I have two HP Printers that use this ink and I think it works great, although I think it is very expensive. You can buy a new printer by the time you replace ink 3 times.
I would recommend this to a friend!

cartridge size
On 564 cartridge I need larger size not thin one how can I tell the difference
Ask an employee and they will usually open a box to make sure it is the right one.

I have black ink with hexagon shape instead of a circle on the cartrage. It is almost double in size compared to other colors. What is difference?
The box doesn't have the hex shape but the ink cartrage does. How will I know if it's the hex shape unless I open the box?
For the hex shape, I believe the box is usually bigger. If not, you can always talk to an employee and they can open the box for you to make sure it is the correct one. If you buy the wrong one, you can generally return it without a problem.

I have an HP C309a printer.
Do all 564 cartridges fit my printer? What if C309a isn't listed on the ink box?
No, all 564 ink cartridges do not fit all HP printers. If it is not listed on the box, then it won't work for your printer. You can contact HP to find the best inks for you to use.

Are the HP 940 and 970 cartridges still available? If not, is there a generic brand replacement?
I believe you can purchase these at Costco.
