What's great about it: size, price, weight
What's not so great: stand
This is the biggest TV I've ever bought and I paid less than the first lcd I bought 7 years ago (37") It's great value for the size and money. Picture quality is decent when actual 1080p is displayed. However, most cable broadcast do not show true 1080p. Internet apps are easy to access. There is also a dedicated Netflix button on the remote which is nice because we are usually watching Netflix.
The tv stand is a little weak but this is one of the lightest 55" TV you will find. Wall mount would be ideal.

Can this tv log onto and use xfinity on demand?

Can this tv log onto and use xfinity on demand like my computer can? I purchased these two items along with a surge strip and 2 hdmi cables for my mother in FL. I also purchased best buys installation services. I also wanted to know can this tvs USB port read a hard drive full of movies?
I do not believe vizio has the xfinity app available. you can check their website to be sure.

Yes the usb port can be used to watch movies from a flash drive. I think most common file types can be played.
