How do you change the batteries?

How does the battery compartment open?
Well, underneath the keyboard, toward the back or head, there is an outline of what appears to be a section and/or compartment. It is here that you have to try to 'push' the compartment cover forward toward you if you hold it in way with the face of the keyboard facing down and the space bar close to you. This keyboard uses 2 AA batteries.
