How does the stand charge the computer?

If the stand doesn't come with an AC charger, how does it charge the computer? I assume you use the AC charger that comes with the computer? What's the purpose of the magnetic pogo pin connector (to hold the computer in place on the stand)?
Yes your assumption is correct it uses the power charger that came with your device. plugs in and then it reroutes the power to the base where it sits.
