A great start for a hands free device from Google and I look forward to further improved abilities from Google Assistant. The speakers have great sound quality when playing music or any other media. The limit of the two multi-directional microphones does appear to limit the range of the devices hearing,

I bought this device to replace the previous smoke alarm I had in part because I liked the feature to wave off any false positives. So far, this device has been the best one I have ever had for smoke. It was easy to setup and so far no false alarms unlike the previous smoke alarm.

This has been a great replacement for the Samsung Chromebook I accidentally broke. The touch screen works great and the battery life lasts longer than earlier models of Chromebooks I have had in my possession. The only missing piece is something to protect the keyboard after folding the 2in 1 for the full touch screen effect. Otherwise it's a great computer for the price.

What's great about it: Quick boot time and always up to date
What's not so great: Pre-used and required fresh install of Chrome OS
Bought this Samsung Chromebook to replace an earlier version that I broke the power connection. Buying an open box of this product did save me some money on the overall cost but also meant some risk including the need to re-install the Chrome OS but with the built in easy of a Chromebook, this re-install of the Chrome OS was simple and took very little time. Next time I will double check to make sure it boots before purchasing an open boxed product.
This product is... A nice compact size, easy to set up, lightning fast, quick boot time

I needed a easy means of transporting files and yet have the freedom to install portable size OS such as Chrome OS or other Linux based operating system.This product provided both the storage size needed at a price I could afford.

Does the Nest Protect talk to the Nest Thermostat about motion?
Does the latest generation Nest Protect also talk to the 3rd generation Nest Thermostat to tell it when motion is detected? My Thermostat is in a location where it cannot "see" the room or detect motion from someone that is there. I read somewhere that the Protect can detect motion and communicate through being paired to the Nest Thermostat that someone is in the room so the Thermostat will be smarter. In another article I read that the Nest Protect had been revised to not detect motion. In summary, I am looking to buy a Nest Protect if it also provides motion detection to my Nest Thermostat in addition to providing the protection from smoke and CO.
I do not know about the third generation Nest Thermostat but this is possible with my first generation Nest Thermostat. You just have to turn on the feature through the Nest App or on the thermostat to allow the Protect to act as a source for determining occupancy. I personally decided to turn off the feature as I use my phone to tell my thermostat if someone is home or not.

Does this Shark Rotator Professional Lift-away (NV 501) sold by Best Buy come with the canister caddy... or does the caddy need to be purchased separately?
