The DX-2601 charger did not work from day one. The indicator lights on the charger said that the unit was charged after four hours. When I tried to use it, my iPhone 6 would charge for a split second, then stop charging. I returned it for a different brand (Tzumi) that worked out of the box.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great budget computer, but the screen is not the best. Darker colors change brightness if you look at the screen from to low or high of an angle. Text is not as sharp as high end laptops. The speed of the computer is fast enough for the average user due to the 5th generation i3 processor.

It should work with your Kindle, as long as your Kindle has a touchscreen.
