What's great about it: Rugged feel, yet very light and thin. Rubbery keyboard is awesome!
What's not so great: The screen resolution compatibility
The laptop is very light and extremely thin. Yet it doesn't feel fragile. It has a very sturdy feel to it still. I think the rubbery keyboard helps with this as well as the frame being very strong, there is hardly any flex in the computer.
The tent, stand, and tablet modes are great to flip the laptop around to accommodate different positions. When I first bought it I thought this would be one of my least used features and it has become my most used.
Keyboard has a great feel when typing, great feedback. It is also back-lit!!!
Awesome battery life!
The screen resolution is both one of the greatest and worst things about this laptop. Everything is really sharp and crisp, but some stuff doesn't fit the resolution well and it can be hard to read stuff at times because it's too small.

how to eject sd card or external drive properly?

Use the Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media function.
It is typically on the bottom right task bar.
You may have to click the arrow in the bottom right of the screen to find it.

illuminated keyboard will not light up is there a swicht button?

Hold the function key "Fn" and hit the space bar.
