Attaching the secondary adhesive metal plate to the back of the phone with out the case was not enticing. However it is a perfect mount for those with phone cases, you can easily slide the metal piece behind it. The phone is extremely easy to place and remove when entering/exiting the vehicle. Installing it was easy and the light stickiness combined with the suction latch makes a very strong bond to the windshield (bought one for wifes car also, and it works just as well attaching to the dashboard). The magnet is extremely strong, able to take a 40 degree curve at 50mph without it ejecting from the mount. Best mount of the types and brands that I tried.

We bought a dock that needed a cable and we didn't want to use the slimmer original cable, this worked perfectly for what we were looking for and is a slightly larger gauge wire. Its not the same feel/quality as the apple branded cables but, it works fine for any sync or charge use needed.

Perfect solution to avoid wiring for speakers

To my surprise this product works extremely well, I even bought 2 more of them for Christmas gifts for family members. I have 4 different wireless networks broadcasting (2.4ghz and 5ghz), baby monitor, Bluetooth headset, and a slew of other wireless items on similar or the same frequency. None of them interfere with the sound quality over a 20ft distance. The sound transmission is instantaneous and required no sound distance/timing changes to have the sound come out perfectly clear and on time. The receiver box is only slightly larger than an apple tv, it could be smaller but is a minimal trade off for a device that I've been searching to solve my surround issues for years and keep me from having to wire the 1st floor of my home.

Crackling sound from speaker
I recently had google fiber hooked up and now I get random crackling in my rear speakers and no sound for a few seconds then it works fine.
This sounds like it is one of a a few possible issues:
1) There is a new device causing interference over the 2.4ghz Bluetooth frequency this device uses. (perhaps the new Google fiber router is transmitting a 2.4ghz wireless that is interfering)
2) There may be feedback over your power line causing issues on the transmitter or receiver if either are plugged directly into the wall.
3) The device may be going out/ is faulty.
I recommend trouble shooting starting with reconnecting the devices together using the connect button on the bottom of the transmitter (check the manual for instructions how to do this)

Can I connect to my zone 2 and transmit across open air to outdoor speakers?
The transmitter takes a right and left +/- signals from the signal output and streams them to the receiving unit and outputs them into mirrored left/right +/- signals. I haven't personally tested it this way but, it should work. You would need an outdoor rated box (and power for the receiving unit) to avoid it getting damage to the receiver outside.

How can I control the volume with a remote if I hook transmitter directly to the TV?
Does the transmitter connect to the red and white audio output jacks in the back of the TV? I don't believe these are controlled by the TV's volume control. Therefore I cannot control the volume on the wireless speakers by using the TV's remote control.
You cannot hot this directly to the TV, this device is meant for a higher end audio speaker system that has a dedicated home theater/audio receiver and has a rear speaker positive/negative output. The standard red/white composite audio will not work for this device.

What is the latency difference compared to wired?
I've heard there is a delay in the audio when using a system like this. Has anyone measured the increase in latency when comparing to a quality wired solution?
I have had no delay or latency with mine. My left rear speaker is wired and my right one uses this device (have an archway that keeps me from wiring it, its on the 1st floor of a multi-story home). I haven't measured the difference directly but, I am unable to discern any noticeable latency in the sound between the two speakers. I didn't even have to change the distance for surround regulation. I'm not much of an audiophile as I primarily use it for movies and tv shows but, all of the action scene explosions and voice queues match up for the picture and sound over the 20ft distance I have setup.
