Bought this for my wife as an alternative to her Samsung Tab 3 7". It seemed that the Samsung would not pick up wifi as good as our other devices (Moto phone, Asus tab, Acer laptop). Being very happy with my Asus tab and the TF0310 substantially less expensive than a Samsung 10" tab, this was a natural choice. Does everything we use it for well. Nice change with this one vs our TF300T is the change to a "standard" charging connection-- no proprietary connector.

What's not so great: Not fully enclosing style
This cover is fairly well designed and seems well-enough made. It provides padding without being overly bulky. My preference is a cover that fully encloses the device, thereby offering complete protection, but this one works for the way the device is carried.

What's great about it: Does a bit of everything pretty well
What's not so great: Would be nice if it had come with 4.2 or 4.3
This tab was a gift for my wife and is used primarily for reading. She had previously said she was not interested in a tab because she liked the "feel" of physical books. This tab has changed her mind; she loves it and has downloaded numerous books (on her own, I might add, as she is not a tech-type person). She also uses it to read news, email, and so on. I am sure that as time goes on she will appreciate other apps and the additional capabilities of this tab. I selected this one because it was full-featured with things like f/r cameras, good display, and the standard micro usb for charging rather than the previous proprietary plug and socket. An absolute MUST for me is expandable memory, and this had the microSD slot (this must ruled out the Google devices and a few more).
This product is... easy to set up, Variety of apps available, A nice compact size, Easy to navigate, Great screen size, Comfortable to hold

Can the tablet be connected to a printer and print documents, photos, etc.??
Depends on the printer. Some of the more recent printers utilize apps from the printer manufacturer that allow you to print wirelessly.

Can the tablet email attachments, specifically word docs and excel spreadsheets?
You should be able to do that (method may vary by email client): find the file attachment icon or select it from the Settings menu pulldown - with Gmail you can select "attach picture" which gives you a pop-up where a file (non-pic) can be selected.

Not directly, but try one of the file manager apps from Play Store. You should be able to use that to download or move those files to the SD card.

new to tablets. does it have fm capablity and record the station?
It has no internal tuner, but you can download apps from the Play Store, such as TuneIn, that allow you to select various FM stations.
