Can I Add a line?

Can I purchase the Note 5 or Galaxy S6 for my daughter and add the line to my existing contract for 2 years or since I'm currently eligible for an upgrade can I purchase both phones but add the second phone on my new 2 year contract?

Yes. They also offer leasing tbe device, which doesn't require a 2 yr contact & usually a lower monthly fee.

If the battery fails, what does it cost to fix. Other words if it can't hold a charge what does sprint do.

If the phone is still under warranty they'll replace it or if uou have insurance, there's a co-pay around $100-$150. If neiither one of these apply, then you'll have to pay out of pocket for a new phone.

USB port

When I was in the store I asked about a USB port on either the Galaxy Note or the Galaxy Tab4 and was told none of the tablets have them, yet the Galaxy Tab 4 product specs says there is one. Is there one? Can I use it to hook up to a printer?
Also, is there a 'book case' app that can be put on any of the android notepads that can be used by both Nook and Kindle so I don't have to have two different book shelves to jump between?

There are no usb ports on this device. You can purchase a usb adapter that plugs into the tablet or you can buy a wi-fi capable printer, download HP eprint ap & use that. I don't know anything about the bookcase app, sorry.

No, but it has a slot for an SD card.

Will a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 run Adobe Flash Player? Some of the games require Adobe Flash Player.
