Both the picture and sound are adequate for this reasonably priced TV. I searched for the best bargain 32 inch television and returned a Visio M322I because the picture was not bright enough. The Samsung solved this problem.

The full size HDMI port, Ethernet plug, and touch screen were requirements. The I5 processor and 6 GB's of RAM make this Toshiba fast and a delight to use. The backlighted keyboard is a real plus and the fourteen inch screen is a great compromise between portability and legibility. This laptop does everything I need!

The lighting and shelf flexibility are terrific! All the drawers are too small and are smaller than the 18 cubic foot refrigerator it has replaced. A butter tray (door mount) is not included and so must be purchased separately. This refrigerator is annoyingly noisy; ergo the three star rating.

I currently use the 35.00 plan and do not have a smartphone. If I upgrade do I have to pay more for my plan?
Smart phones provide POTS, Plain Old Telephone Service, as well as all the fun things that endear themselves to so many users. No, it is not necessary to upgrade Verizon service to use the Moto e phone. You will be able to use it as a regular phone and can still enjoy the smart phone features, but NOT text, when you have WiFi access.
If you want to text and use apps when not in a WiFi zone, then a plan must be purchased that supports these functions. There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

can I use this phone on Net10, etc?
This Verizon Moto e is a CDMA handset. The good news is that Net10 supports CDMA as well as GSM technologies. Yes, this Moto e will work with Net10 service.

How can you remove the divider in the freezer
I don't choose to use the icemaker and would like to have the top freezer basket more open.
Yes, the dividers can be removed. The plastic clip in the very back of the basket sits over the rim. Pry this slightly apart and lift up to release the dividers.

There are a number of 4K computer monitors available now that could be used with an external tuner box. Alternatively, a tuner card in a computer would also allow you to process TV signals.

Is this tv firm ware be able to upgrade to the new hdr standard
From the things I have read, the XBR55850C is NOT an HDR ready television. I knew this before I purchased and will upgrade down the road when more of the future specifications (8K, fully implemented HDR, etc.) are readily available.

55X850C wall mount screw size
I'm trying to wall mount my new 55X850C and see it doesn't come with screws, any idea what size I need?
I don't know the exact size but these are certainly metric screw holes. Put a piece of paper over one of the screw holes and use a sharp pencil to punch a hole in the paper. Push the pencil all the way down to set the diameter of the screw. Now use a pin to determine the depth of the hole. Go to the happy, local hardware store and match up the width and lengths you now have determined. If in doubt, buy several different sizes and lengths and give them a test fit at home.
Don't forget to add some length on the screws to accommodate the thickness of your television mount!

Can the stand height be extended up vertically
Depending on how much work you want to do and how much you want to pay, anything is possible. If all you need is a modest height increase of a half inch or so, then remove the stand and drill and tap new holes in the vertical bars that insert into the television.
Please note that increasing the height of the television by modifying the factory stand will exacerbate an already unstable situation with this TV!
A much better solution and one that I will implement is simply making a wooden box to elevate the set to the desired height. This need not be fancy and can be assembled with as few as three boards. Just make sure the horizontal piece rests on the two verticals for gravity defying support. Additional box bracing is recommended for elevation increases above four inches!
