What's great about it: Easy, Reasonable, NO Hassle
What's not so great: NOTHING.
I purchased this because with school coming up I needed a few extra USB ports. I absolutely love this product. There are only 2 things to plug in and then it's set up. I use it all the time, everyday. I can save and exchange files to multiple people at once! I highly recommend!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does this have a AC power adapter with it?

At the risk of asking a dumb question, does this unit come with an AC adapter? It says "powered" and it does not specify "bus powered" and it appears there is an input for AC. The reviews don't seem to complain about it not having one. However, it is also not shown in the picture or listed in the contents. And, other people are shown as buying an AC adapter as well. How is it a "powered" USB hub without the adapter?
Yes it comes with an AC adapter. In the event you need to plug something into the USB ports without the use of a computer. Otherwise you can plug it straight into the computer and it will work for the purpose of charging and having multiple slots as needed. Hope this helps!
