I bought this as a replacement for a comparable Netgear unit that required several re-boots per day to keep my internet connection. After initial setup, this unit hasn't required a single re-boot. The set up was very straight forward and included an option to update the firmware from within the setup instead of downloading the update separately. While the 2.4 range is excellent the 5.0 range is is notably less as was expected. It is still very acceptable for inside the house but not much more than that. I am very happy with this device overall.

The price for ink seems crazy but you got to have it. This worked well as a replacement to the OEM cartridge that came with the machine.

how do i connect my wireless desktop to my HDTV

Depending on what you want to stream, a Chrome Cast works very well and is simple to set up. With it, you can stream your Chrome browser to your TV. Needless to say, you must have Chrome installed on your Desktop AND be connected wirelessly to your network. Netgear also sells a Push 2 TV device which I have not used.
