There is a lot to love about this Chromebook, but it does have a couple of particularly bothersome items that could make some folks decide it is not the product for them.
Set up and navigation are simple, and you are given the option to link the device with any other devices you'd like (phones, tablets, other Chomebooks/Pixelbooks, etc.), which is becoming more and more common across these types of devices. Battery power is fantastic, and this will easily handle whatever you can throw at it, as a travel companion for work or for more casual or infrequent use. The screen is great and provides a delightful experience whether using it in tablet form or as more of a laptop.
The included keyboard and back cover are not attached to each other, but work in unison to properly use the device in its laptop form factor. Both are detachable from the main unit, so you can use this in a true tablet form if desired. While the key board physically plugs into the screen, the back cover is magnetically attached and comes off with a slight pull, and has a magnetized but movable/bendable lower flap to act as a stand for the screen, with several adjustment angles.
A standout feature for some will be the included Pen for the screen, which is housed within the screen itself (push button release; push down to return to storage).
The two things that I was displeased with are the rear-facing camera and the keyboard attachment. In this era where even basic smartphones are now coming with cameras that can take almost studio quality photos, the camera found here is terrible. It may come in handy in a "any camera will do" kind of on-the-spot, spontaneous situation, but you will certainly not be intentionally trying to use this camera to take any photos outside of an emergency. The inclusion of any rear camera may be seen as a bonus to some, but the quality almost begs the question "why bother?" if the quality is this lacking. I attempted pictures with regular indoor lighting, and it looked like I was taking pictures in a cave. I don't think most people buy a device of this type for the camera quality, and I might be spoiled by the beautiful pictures I typically take with my phones, but if you are specifically looking for a camera in a tablet form factor, look elsewhere.
The biggest offense is the keyboard. While it has a nice amount of punch when typing, and has good key spacing (no dedicated numeric key pad outside of the numbers along the top), there is no back lighting on the key board and this is emphasized by the color scheme of the keys; A light silvery/tan color with off-white symbols on the keys. I had a hard time reading the keys, as the symbols barely contrast with the key color itself. While I could still manage in a brightly lit room (still with some effort/eye strain) the keys were not readable in a more dimly lit setting. If they sell other color schemes, I would avoid any color that does not naturally provide a strong contrast from off white. If the keys had a back light, there would be no issue, but as-is with no lighting, this will get frustrating very quickly for anyone that wants to use this in laptop formation.
Bottom line for me, I think there is a lot to love here, and the onboard Pen and dynamic form factors of the device in general are probably chief among the features to love. However, I would not personally buy this device due to the lack of back lit keys/lack of key and symbol colors with stronger contrast between them, and the poor camera, which looks nice aesthetically but performs less stellar than it looks. If you want to use this strictly as a touchscreen tablet (touch screen is very responsive, with or without the Pen), or if you have identified compatible alternate attachable keyboards for this model (if they exist), then this may be for you. But if you actually ARE looking for a tablet-esque device with a decent camera, or planning to use this as more of a laptop but will not be using this in the most brightly lit environments possible, then you may want to pass.
Most people I know would ignore the camera and buy this device for the plethora of other features it has, but everybody I know that would want to use this in its laptop configuration would find the lack of contrast in the keyboard to be a huge deal breaker.
There are many more benefits to owning this device than there are concerns, and since I believe most would find the benefits more appealing, I am recommending this device, but very cautiously as there are some distinct areas that may be a problem for some, depending on how one plans to use the device.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I don't typically use stand-alone microphones, as most of my other tech. tends to have mics built into them (web cams, laptops, phones, bluetooth speakers, etc.), but after the compliments I received after using this microphone, I may be making a standalone mic part of my regular tech. repertoire!
The mic. is plug & play, and sets itself up immediately. There's a software offer for downloading gaming software for the device, but I opted not to use that. I've used the mic. for both personal and work-related meetings, and when I have asked how I sound to those I am meeting with, I get resounding positive feedback, complementing the charity and sound of my voice. Surprisingly, even my family who have heard my voice all my life, have been compelled to tell me how great I sound when using this microphone.
The mute feature was fun to use, as the mic is very responsive to touch. You do not need to slam your hand on the mic nor repeat multiple touches to make it respond. I lightly touched it and the volume instantly muted (admittedly, I touched it successively to see how responsive it was, and it responded to every touch even when tapping it multiple times in a row). There is an indicator light on the front of the mic that illuminates green when the mic is active and red when muted.
The mic is slightly adjustable at the base, and allows for some positioning if needed. Assembly was very quick and painless, as it consisted of just attaching the mic to the pedestal base.
This mic was great for me since this was my first use of a standalone mic as part of my regular computer setup, but this is a corded USB mic, NOT a Bluetooth microphone, so you will want to consider your studio or office setup and availability ports if considering getting this mic, but it does the job very well, and I would happily recommend it to everyone I know!

This headset has great sound quality, similar to a standard set for music connoisseurs (although not quite on that level), and I was especially impressed with the noise canceling ability. The first time I placed them on my head, I couldn't hear ANY of the ambient noise around me, except for my own heartbeat in the silence. Bluetooth connectivity was very simple, quick, and intuitive, and the microphone seemed to be clear, from what I was told by MOST people I spoke with using these.
The only issue I have with these headphones is that there does not appear to be an audio notification when the battery is low, and this caused quite a bit of confusion during a conversation I was having with these connected over bluetooth. The person I was speaking to began to periodically say they could not hear me, although I could hear them fine. Since I could hear them, we both assumed that it was their device malfunctioning, but once my voice apparently could not be heard for an extended time, I ended up having to disconnect the headset from my phone and speak though my phone directly. Later I saw that the low battery indicator light was on, and so I charged it up. They worked fine once they were fully charged. My biggest issue here is that this could cause some major inconveniences if using this for work or other important communications (having the microphone drop out with no audible battery notice). Other devices I own will state "low battery," "recharge," or something similar when using headphones with those devices, and wireless headphones I own with a weak battery will at least do a stutter tone, disruption in the sound produced, or some sort of audible signal that the battery is low, and I think this is critical if using these for work or other important communications. It should also be noted that the low battery indicator light was not showing when the microphone first began to have issues, further contributing to my confusion about what the issue actually was.
While I love the sound quality and features of the device (there is a mute button on the microphone, it has both a Type C and Type A USB dongle to use aside from connecting through bluetooth, and it comes with a tote bag that fits the headset nicely and makes it more portable when not in use), I have to take a star off due to the lack of an audio notification about a weak battery, as I was lucky that it gave out during a social call as opposed to a work-related one. I have no way to know if I just happen to have a bad set related to an audio indication for low battery not being present.
Bottom line, great sound quality, microphone (on a full battery), and overall accessories and features, with exceptional noise canceling, but cannot recommend for those that may need a head set for multiple daily phone or video meetings, as it would be too easy to overlook the low battery notification (which leads to microphone issues).
Would be great choice for a casual headset for personal/social communications, or only occasional work-related meetings of minimal importance where you can insure that you are going in fully charged, but in that case, you can find cheaper headsets for casual purposes. As many positives as there are with this set, I still cannot recommend these in general, as i think most will consider these for work, and the low battery/microphone issue is too critical to ignore for that purpose.

I own a couple of Logitech web cameras, one of which is excellent, and another which is sub par at best. Was hoping this one would be great, and my wish came true.
Picture quality was great and everyone I spoke with said they could hear me crystal clear. In particular, the lighting adjustment was on par with the better of my other two Logitech web cams, and displayed my visage perfectly even with nothing but dim natural light on a dark rainy day. The swiveling privacy shutter is great, and the camera is easy to adjust.
This is a plug & play device that loaded very quickly on my laptop after plugging it in. Although I had a table fan on, everyone I spoke with said they could only here my voice when I spoke, so the sound filtering works great. I did not try adjusting any of the settings with the app, primarily because everything worked so well out the box that I didn't feel the need to try the app.
Could not be happier with this device, and will be replacing the sub par web camera with this one! Now I just need to decide whether to use this for home or office. Highly recommend to anyone needing a web camera for any reason. Fantastic product.

Sony has hit an exceptional balance with the XB100. As an owner of two of its older siblings (XB10 & XB13), I can say this is the most balanced sound of the three. The XB10 was base heavy for its size but got a bit muddy at higher volumes; The XB100 can dish out strong (but not as strong) base and stays clearer at higher volumes with the base pumped up (although it gets a bit muddy at the very top volume like most speakers of this size. The XB13 had a crisper overall sound quality than the XB 100, but handles base the least well of the three, and is slightly exceeded in sound quality and detail by the XB100; In short, the XB100 will give you the best qualities of both of its predecessors, and pack the best sound possible for a speaker this size. i found the XB100 to be very responsive to a virtual EQ, and some songs that I've listened to for years sound like a remastered version hearing it on this speaker.
Bluetooth connection was intuitive and extremely easy, as with most Sony products, and the on-speaker controls were easy to use as well. It comes with a strap that works great for carrying or positioning the unit. Its water and dust ratings are high enough to use this speaker in a variety of outdoor settings, and it can be paired with other like speakers if a larger sound is desired.
This is a SMALL portable speaker, so everything I've written is in the context of what is possible with a speaker this size. While it would be hard to find a similarly sized speaker with this sound quality, it will not perform miracles, like trying to use for large gatherings or filling a large outdoor space with robust sound.
Overall, a nice portable speaker for personal use, with full, detailed, quality sound reproduction. Highly recommend for those in need of a smaller device.

I typically do not like using larger style mice and generally go for more compact sizes, but I actually enjoyed using this mouse for gaming, although there are some cons I'll get to later.
Most mice this size feel extra heavy, but this one feels as light as a mouse less than half its size, making it more user-friendly for gaming than other mice this size. The amount and placement of buttons (including one that you can switch out to a small or large size) give you great options for personal preferences for gaming. I'm a huge fan of the scroll wheel moving from free-flow to incremental, which happens at the push of a dedicated button just above the wheel. The RGB lighting is delightful, and a storage area below the power switch on the bottom of the device allows you to store the USB dongle for safe keeping. Tracking is superb (as is common on Logitech devices it seems), and I was able to guide the device on literally every surface i could think of or access. I didnt try distance tracking, so I cannot speak to performance in this area.
On the down side, this mouse is strictly controlled through the dongle, as opposed to having Bluetooth capability, which is a limitation when compare to some of Logitech's own other wireless gaming mice that can use both a dongle and Bluetooth on any Bluetooth-capable device. The storage area underneath the mouse cannot fit the small or large button alongside the dongle, so there is high likelihood of losing the button if you carry it through other means for preferred switching of sizes between games or productivity work.
The biggest issue I had overall was with the downloadable software application for the mouse. It uses the G HUB app, and the app is not intuitive at all, forcing you to go through a demo to get to the RGB controls, which are a separate set of options from the ones you can download and use on a completely different screen; Options loop around repetitively, and require that you basically click on almost every option in order to figure out where to go or what to press to do whatever you are trying to do through the app. I stumbled across how to activate saving settings directly to the device, and then stumbled across how to get to a game profile while trying to figure out how to switch the RGB settings (which appear in two different areas, the least convenient of which is where the main controls are actually located). Not sure what the design team was thinking when they slopped every menu they could think of into random locations, but it needs a TON of work. had it not been for the mouse itself being so fun to use and look at, the menu options alone would have cost this device two stars.
Overall, I'd recommend the mouse to others, even if they prefer smaller mice, for both gaming and regular productivity needs, but I would certainly warn them about how disorganized the settings are through the G HUB app if they are intending to use this mouse for gaming.

Although Sony continues to lead with creativity and quality in the very crowded market of Blue Tooth speakers overall (especially for Bass Lovers), This latest effort is not quite what I have come to expect from Sony speakers, although still a solid speaker overall.
Blue Tooth connections were smooth, seamless, and very easy and intuitive to do, so no surprises there. I am a fan of speakers that still have physical buttons on the speaker, in case of unforeseen issues that could arise from speakers that almost strictly use apps to operate. The dedicated battery stamina button is great and appreciated, above using a system of beeps and flashes like other less user-friendly devices of this type. The shape/design of the speaker seems to help give a fuller sound from all angles, with no noticeable drop in sound quality regardless of the position of the speaker.
Battery Life was also great, with what felt to me to be a fairly quick charge for a speaker that can go days with fairly heavy usage. Standby battery power retention is also great, as I meant to take this on vacation but forgot it for a week, and returned to find it was still sitting at a full 100% charge after leaving it for a week. Portability is also great, especially with the handy carrying cord attached to it, and it is sized in a way that fits nicely within a book bag or travel case too.
The reason for the one-star deduction is regarding sound control, as Treble control is limited. There are no preset EQs or specific Bass boost function on this model, and unlike other Sony speakers I've used in the past, a virtual EQ from an app or computer is not as responsive here. Default sound is balanced enough to please the average music listener, and there's enough Bass control for a Bass lover to be content, but don't expect to manually tune out the treble to enjoy the bass line. Those soaring vocals will be ever-present regardless of what EQ settings you are using, although at lower volume levels, the speaker's Bass production can be felt more powerfully than at higher volumes, where things can be a bit muddy with the vocals and Bass together (again, a bit unusual for a Sony product). At time of writing, I was not able to access my Sony Music app, so it is possible there could be some sort of Sony-specific sound controls to alter the EQ of the speaker, but even if this is the case, I'd have taken a star off for that being the only way to access special sound settings.
This will please most users without needing any adjustments, especially if you really want to hear those vocals clearly and consistently, but if you are looking for something to keep a party thumping to the Bass with minimal vocals (or more evenly balanced vocals), you may want to look into one of Sony's other more powerful Bass producing devices. Again, not bad, but not necessarily able to give you that extra bump that some more Bass-heavy speakers from Sony and others can give you. A good mid-ranger for any music-lover's speaker collection, but not necessarily la-creme-de-la-creme for Bass lovers. Would recommend, but caution Bass aficionados, as there are many competitors (even within Sony's own line-up) that may meet Bass needs better in this class range.

I am a fan of Sony products in general and their speakers always deliver great sound. This device is among them, but perhaps not at the top of that list for devices in this category.
The Bluetooth pairing was highly efficient as the speaker seemed to connect itself to my device almost immediately upon turning it on for the first time. I later tried paired it on my own to another device, and it still connected very quickly. The physical styling looks more sleek and modern than my older XB10 version of this device. The older version was completely smooth, making you rely on sight to operate appropriately, but this version has slightly raised operating symbols that allow for more tactile operation, especially in dark or dimmer lighting conditions.
The sound is only EQ friendly to the Bass, as you can modify Bass response freely, however, it appears to be internally tuned to emphasize treble regardless of EQ settings, so you are not really able to fully emphasize the Bass. There is "enough" bass for an average music lover to be satisfied, but it was not as punchy as its XB10 predecessor in this regard. You get the fullest bass sound by setting your EQ to mono settings instead of stereo, but again, it will be a slightly muted experience if you are looking for truly Extra Bass.
There was an app referenced in some of the device documents that arrived in the box, but I was unsuccessful in getting it to connect, and I believe this device is actually not comparable with the app.
I'd recommend this for lovers of vocals and treble, and I think it has enough bass for most. It just won't make bass lovers feel like it has Extra Bass. Considering the size, the sound is great for a portable speaker this size, but there are other options for those who want truly expansive bass at this size. I'd recommend, even to bass lovers at this size, although bass lovers have other options in this category of speakers.

Thought this would be more of a gimmick than anything else, but boy was I surprised at what a little bit of intense lighting can do for you in the morning! I am not a morning person by nature, much more of a night owl, so getting up & getting energized in the morning is always a process for me. Snoozing my alarm is a regular part of my extended wake-up process, and I've become accustomed to it. I tried using this light in the morning consistently for a few weeks, and I actually did away with the snooze routine within the first couple of days of use. I still stay up later than I probably should, but my sleep has become deeper, to the extent that I feel much more rested and energized throughout the day, no doubt due to the invigorating light this thing kicks out.
I also use it for when I'm Zoom calling from my office at work (which is currently only one day a week) since my office has lots of natural sunlight that makes lighting adjustment with my web cam challenging. This is bright enough to amp up the overall lighting near me enough for it to register on my camera in spite of the natural lighting outside. My office has very dim lights and does not have blinds or curtains, so my camera is awful and always misreads the natural lighting of the room, making me look like a shadow on screen without this lamp.
The lamp looks very nice and has a few different lighting levels. Its big enough to provide effective lighting, but small enough to place it just about anywhere you can supply it with power. It almost looks like a picture frame at first glance.
I'd recommend this for the help with energizing you at the start of your day, and just as a lamp with great lighting for video calls (or just in general if you can use a stylish lamp somewhere in your home). I personally did not feel any impact or change to my natural inclination to stay up late, so it didn't appear to impact that part of my circadian rhythm, but it works better than I expected in general, and I would say that I do sleep more deeply and wake more energized since I've been using this, in spite of still staying up late. Its a solid, and very bright lamp.

This monitor has a beautiful screen for 4K gaming, and has a very easily adjustable stand that allows you to tilt, pivot, rotate, raise and lower the screen as desired. The actual base of the monitor is built in such a way that it allows you to turn the entire base shaft left or right without turning the base platform itself. The screen is visible from multiple angles without losing its integrity, and the entire device was extremely easy to assemble within minutes.
M y biggest issue with the monitor is the lack of instructions for how to adjust the actual picture on the screen, and all of the functions for visual manipulation. I spent time trying to find the graphics menus to really test the features, and eventually I accidentally stumbled onto the monitor options (you have to press the rotating knob in (like a button) in order for you to access the wide variety of settings and options available to customize your 4K viewing experience.
Once in the menu, there are a large variety of items to choose from that give the picture new life. The original setting it was on was a racer setting that seemed a little washed out, but there were several settings that really showed off the brightness and color pallet of this monitor. Although there are options for you to adjust just about every setting imaginable to your exact taste, I loved many of the preset options as they were. I watched a few 4K videos on it at one point, and noticed that my preferred settings were not the same for video viewings as they were for the games I played on it. I mostly figured out how to navigate the rotary button alongside the other 4 buttons on the reverse side of the bottom right of the monitor, but this also took time to figure out through trial and error. Once you know what your doing, it becomes a bit more intuitive, but definitely not in the beginning.
Monitor is very responsive during game play, and both games and videos looked exceptionally well. The Portrait mode rotation was also excellent when I did more productivity-based work on it. At 28" this gave me all the screen real estate I could need just short of using one of my TV sets as a monitor. It has some weight to it, so if you are planning to move your monitor frequently, you may want a smaller size that this one, at least with this brand.
I would recommend this monitor for gaming or productivity needs, as the picture quality is great, the menu graphics options are helpful and plentiful, and the screen is very flexible/easy to position & adjust. If there were better instructions with it, I would definitely have given this 5-Stars, but I'm taking it down to 4 since I've provided more instructions in this review than what came with the device for adjusting the graphics settings. Would highly recommend to anyone, but would probably have to send anyone I knew personally some of my own type-written instructions for adjusting the graphics.
(Hopefully the lack of instructions just means my device was missing something, or I overlooked a pamphlet somehow.)
