Bought this as a replacement for an older Netgear Rangemax. Really glad I got this one. Has tons of options on both bands for guest access. Additionally, it allows up to 5 VPN sessions directly to your internal network through a free ASUS DDNS service. Overall this thing rocks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

can this support wifi calling, and/or be used as an wifi extender

I would use a wifi extender like a small netgear instead. Much cheaper and as effective. I use one with my ASUS to hook up a wired polycom IP phone from another part of the house.

Shouldn't be a problem. I use mine with Xbox One and open NAT
