Purchased this prior to a trip. It works very well and charges both my 12.9” iPad Pro as well as my iPhone. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is that you must provide your own charging plug. Using my iPad Pro plug it takes a very long time to recharge. Basically all night.

It is as waterproof as the standard housing that comes with the camera. It IS NOT the dive housing they sell.

Is it the same as the one that comes with the GoPro when you buy it, I mean is the color the only difference?
Yes, this is the only difference. EXCEPT it comes with no extra backs or anything. It will not support the LCD or the Battery backs. The clear extended backs work on it but this defeats the total purpose of having the blackout back.

Yes you can. I use this in my motorcycle hooked up with the cigarette lighter adapter with no problems.
